Bailey's Modern Odyssey

One of my life goals is to travel to all of the U.S. National Parks. Here are the ones I have been to!

I spent only one or two days in most of these parks. While I wish I had more time for most of these, many of my trips are long weekends.

My top 3:
Mount Rainier:
This park felt like it was straight out of a fantasy book. I hiked Comet Falls via Van Trump Trail, Reflection Lake to Narada Falls via Wonderland Trail, and finally, part of the Skyline Loop. Skyline Loop was beautiful on an October late afternoon/evening… I only wish I could’ve finished it. I walked over a sliver of glacier and through clouds. SO COOL.

Joshua Tree:
I made some great memories in this park and underestimated the chaoticness of AllTrails (we ended up going an extra two miles, how fun!). I hiked Hidden Valley, Lost Horse Mine, and Inspiration Peak.

Carlsbad Caverns:
Like I wasn’t going to put this on my top three list! Not only is the story behind this park and its exploration very cool (highly recommend getting the audio guided tour), but it is also a nice in and out! Bring a sweater. 🙂
